Conan and Haibara note that the shoe prints left behind are far too small to belong to Gin or Vodka and seem to belong to a child. Haibara receives a message addressed specifically “To Sherry” in her shoe locker. The unusual third baby hamster seems to look remarkably like the missing adult only younger. The Detective Boys mention some unusual things happening to the hamsters at school a few days ago there were two adult hamsters and two babies but now there’s three babies and only one adult. (Kogoro passed out from drinking too much so it wasn’t necessary.) Arrack is taken into custody but it seems he commits suicide via poisoning before any questioning can be done. Conan then knocks Arrack out using a tranquilizer dart as he didn’t have to use it on Kogoro earlier for the deduction show. Arrack then holds Haibara hostage, demanding for the princess to kill herself and Ratouna willingly jumps out of the airship only to be rescued by Conan using his suspenders to stay attached to the airship. Conan figures out who the gunman is and does his deduction show, revealing Arimiin to be the gunman and it is then revealed that Arimiin is the Black Organization member Arrack.
Conan uses a soccer ball to knock the princess out of her chair preventing her from being assassinated. In the middle of a party on the airship where a singer named Amiriin (アミリーン) is performing the lights go out and two gunshots are heard. (ユーカル社) which Haibara later explains to Conan is a company run by the Black Organization.
Apparently the princess’s life is in danger and the airship has been threatened by Yakaru Inc. Haibara is originally there in order to help translate from English to Japanese and vice versa only for the group to discover that Rahman and the princess both speak perfectly fine Japanese so her assistance wasn’t needed.
While there, Kogoro, Conan, and Haibara are on board the airship speaking to Rahman (ラーマン) and Princess Ratouna (apparently pronounced like Ratuna though kana is given as ラトゥナ) regarding a request they have for Kogoro’s detective services.
